Multiplies over time!

This shade-lover flowers in autumn and stays colorful 9 months a year.
Syn. C. neapolitanum. If your garden is plagued by dry patches of soil beneath mature, spreading trees, Hardy Cyclamen is the solution. This rough-and-ready little bulb flowers in autumn, and multiplies over time into large colonies of mottled blue-green leaves that remain attractive 9 months of the year, even when not topped by brilliant lilac-purple blooms.

A garden mainstay since ancient times (the Greeks adored it), Hardy Cyclamen is a low-growing plant that asks for little beyond partial shade and the occasional watering. The butterfly-shaped purple blossoms are held on strong, wiry stems above the foliage and remain for weeks, really brightening the shade.

Hardy Cyclamen is very long-lived, so the clump you plant this season will be a large, thriving colony that still flowers heavily a decade or more from now. Plant this useful and attractive little bulb generously! Zones 5-9.
