Astonishing Flower Power and Rugged Hardiness!
More tolerant of poor soil and light shade than other Mums!
Clara Curtis is one of the best perennials your garden can be lucky enough to grow. t is long-blooming, heavy-flowering, and so cold-hardy that it survives astonishing winters without losing a root! For more than half a century, American gardeners have trusted its tremendous power and beauty to transform their summer and fall landscape into a carpet of pink, and Clara Curtis has come through brilliantly!

Low-growing and spreading 2 feet wide in no time, Clara Curtis sports masses of golden-eyed, powder-pink daisies for months on end! Instead of being held on top of the foliage, the flowers just spring up everywhere, toppling over, facing up and out, and hiding the leaves entirely at the height of bloom! Plants reach 18 inches tall, with a comfortably mounded habit that looks full and bushy even in a small space!

This classic Mum is versatile, too. It can be a ground cover, an edging, a container subject, or a front-of-the-border ribbon of soft color. More tolerant of light shade and poor soil than other Chrysanthemums, it is easy to grow and utterly fuss-free. It pairs beautifully with blue-flowered Aster Wonder of Staffa, which is one of the few perennials that can match its astoundingly long bloomtime. Or add fragrance to the garden display by planting Clara Curtis in front of snowy Phlox David!

Space plants 18 to 24 inches apart in full sun to light shade. Zones 4-9.
