Distinctively Different Color Pattern on Heavy-Blooming Plants
These 6-inch blooms open lavender and white, but mature to creamy-white as their 16-hour day progresses.
A distinctively different Hemerocallis, 'Eleonore' offers large, striking flowers in two shades of lavender that remain open over an extended day, maturing to paler tones toward evening. Boasting a very heavy bud count and a semi-evergreen habit, this is one of the best cultivars for nonstop color in and out of bloom.

The 6-inch blooms offer 3 upper petals of soft lavender above 3 lower petals of lavender so pale it is nearly white. Open for 16 hours (well into evening), the upper petals become much more pale toward late afternoon, offering nice variation in a large planting. This very heavy-budded Daylily flowers over a long early- through midsummer season, adding unusual color to garden or container.

A tetraploid Daylily, 'Eleonore' can withstand the most severe winter climates, yet is also quite heat- and humidity-tolerant. It is named for the Dutch plantswoman Eleonore de Koning, and this cultivar's beauty, staying power, and vigor are a tribute to its namesake. 28 inches high, 20 inches wide. Zones 3-9.
