Plant Patent #18,881. The most floriferous Heuchera we have ever grown, 'Paris' sets masses of large, very showy bell-shaped blooms twice a year — first in spring and again at summer's end. Borne on tall, slender brown stems, the blooms stand out brilliantly, offset by silvery dark green foliage held in a neat rosette.
These blooms attract butterflies by the dozen into the partly shaded garden or patio. Their color is a rich rosy hue and they are held out horizontally, as if inviting winged visitors to stay and sip! Cut them for indoor arrangements if you like, or let them decorate this compact, mounded plant, which reaches 10 inches high (when not in bloom) and 14 inches wide.
The foliage is no stranger to beauty either, offering soft lobes, a silvery overlay, and silver edges. It is held out and slightly downturned, in tight layers. A good complement to neighboring purple-, red-, and chartreuse- leaved plants, it also makes a fine container choice.
'Paris' thrives in partial shade and any well-drained soil, though good garden soil produces the heaviest flowering. Very heat tolerant, once established in your garden it is adaptable and very vigorous, putting up with a range of environmental stresses. Celebrate the great blooming beauty of this Heuchera by adding it to your landscape this season. Zones 4-9.
