Considered to be the best of the blue Festucas, this clone excels for its sturdy, compact habit and beautiful 10-inch foliage. Of rather rigid growth, it makes an extremely decorative groundcover or accent plant. In summer, it tops itself with feathery tan seedheads that complement the powdery blue color beautifully.
Well suited, too, for edging or in the rock garden, or for growing under trees, where its soft blue offers a pleasing color contrast. Likes dry soil with good drainage. Space 12 to 15 inches apart. Zones 4-8.
