Among the most lovely Japanese Barberries, Rose Glow offers new foliage of warm rose-pink liberally speckled with reddish-purple. As the season progresses, the leaves turn deep maroon on dense, rounded shrubs 5 to 6 feet high and wide. Superb as a hedge, screen, or mass planting, this Dutch selection is among the first to sport new foliage in spring. Very tolerant of poor soil, drought, and humidity, it is ideal for the South. Best in sun to part shade. Zones 4-8.
