Hardy Daphne Delights in March and April
'Aureomarginata' takes the hardiness of the species to a new level.
Daphne odora 'Aureomarginata' is by far the most aromatic of all the Daphnes. The beauty of this wonder arises early as deep crimson buds open to clustered white flowers in March and April.

'Aureomarginata' is also much hardier than the species making this Daphne easy to enjoy. Of upright habit, clothed in glossy leave lightly margined in cream, it slowly attains a height of 4 to 5 feet. This excellent foundation shrub likes a cool and moist location, preferably in light shade. Zones 7-9a, 10 west coast.
