Pyracantha 'Mohave' (Firethorn) offers large white flower trusses in late spring followed by masses of berries from August well into winter! Espalier this 6- to 10-foot shrub against a building or over a doorway, or display its graceful lines and densely branched upright growth as a specimen.
Pyracantha are handsome, vigorous evergreens. Fine specimens or hedges, they are spectacular when espaliered, showing off their myriad berries and lush foliage.
'Mohave' is especially hardy and resistant to scab and fire-blight. Grow in a warm area in sun or partial shade. Zones 6-9.
