'Chandleri Elegans Variegated' is an absolutely gorgeous Camellia with anemone form blooms of rose pink mottled with white that arise in late winter and early spring. The flowers make a great contrast to the glossy, dark green evergreen foliage.
This spectacular shrub does best with morning sun and afternoon shade. It needs well-drained soil, rich in organic matter. During the first growing season, follow a regular watering schedule in order to establish a deep, extensive root system. After the first bloom, feed with an acidic fertilizer, and keep the roots cool with a thick layer of mulch.
