Elegant "Pheasant's Eyes" Perfume the Garden!
Even flourishes in the South!
(Heirloom, 1831). Very rare, with a rich spicy fragrance, "pheasant's eye" blooms are distinguished by a yellow cup fringed in scarlet. A late bloomer, it extends the Daffodil season by weeks and grows 15 to 18 inches high. It excels in Southern climates and is known for being much more tolerant of moist soils in winter and spring than other Narcissus. Zones 4-8.
