Introduced in 1937, this midseason heirloom reaches 15 to 17 inches tall with single, mid-spring blooms whose coronas ("trumpets") are as long as or even longer than its perianths ("petals").Our high-quality bulbs each produce at least two strong flower stems -- providing immediate satisfaction the first year and even more as they increase over the years. Plant about 5 bulbs per square foot. Zones 4-8.
