The gray-green foliage is highly aromatic.

The foliage (a soft gray-green, very pleasing) is highly aromatic, while the large lavender-blue blossoms, topping the leaves on tall, crowded stakes, arise heavily from late spring through midsummer, then reappear for a second heavy bloom in autumn! When not in bloom, 'Walker's Low' is just 10 inches high, a compact and very attractive plant. Cut it back several times during its first bloom season for a denser, bushier growth and quicker reflowering.
