'Frau Mariko') The most exciting member of the Halo™ series of picotee Hydrangeas, Angel Wings™ offers serrated, ruffled petals edged in white and colored a rich blue or pink in the center, held in giant 7 1/2- to 8-inch clusters all over compact plants. A cross of H. 'Crystal' x H. 'Silver Edge,' this vigorous shrub is ideal for containers, foundation plantings, and the shade border, its profuse blooms held erect on sturdy stems just right for cutting. A breeding breakthrough, the plant reaches 3 feet high and wide, blooming from late spring through summer.

Hydrangea Angel Smile PP#10,371
46949. PP#10,371 (cv. 'Frau Nobuko') One of the sensational Halo™ Hydrangeas, this compact mophead offers large, heavily ruffled, abundant 7- to 8-inch blooms of either dark pink or blue, each sepal shading into a slightly serrated white picotee. The texture is satiny and the effect utterly distinctive. Introduced by Hiroshi Ebihara of Japan in 1994 and sold in Europe as one of the Frau™ series, this unusual variety is at last available here. 3 to 5 feet tall and wide.

One of the Halo™ series renowned for its petite plant size, large 7- to 8-inch blooms and peduncle strength that needs no support, Angel Song™ is ideal for containers, the foundation, the border, and even hedges, reaching 4 to 5 feet high and wide and blooming abundantly from late spring through early summer.
