Profuse Prunus is Pink Perfection
Pendula Plena Rosea covered in fully-double, rosy pink blooms.
Prunus subhirtella Pendula Plena Rosea is a rare, double-flowered Weeping Japanese Cherry (Yae Shidare-Higan). This extremely early-flowering Cherry becomes a glorious cascading bank of flowers at the very first hint of spring. Its full weeping habit, reaching 10 to 15 feet high and wide, sports profuse, fully-double, rosy-pink flowers that mature to white against fine-textured foliage. Our plants are top-grafted, transplant easily and grow rapidly in full sun to moderate shade (in the south). Prune to develop good form. Zones 5-9.
