Ginkgo
Extremely adaptable and long-lived
Ginkgo (Ginkgo biloba, Maidenhair tree, Japanese silver apricot, or Fossil tree) is one of the oldest living species of tree, its versatility, disease and pest resistance, and ability to endure environmental hardships being very well known. Possessing a strong stem and root system, Gingkos are durable and easy to maintain, offering many sizes and shapes from which to choose, from those growing only 2' tall to those that reach 50-75'. And Ginkgo offers an extra season of beauty, as the green leaves turn yellow in fall before dropping.
