These handsome 3 1/2-inch blooms have a lovely crepe texture and are held right above the foliage.

Repeats right through fall, stopped only by hard frost!
Plant Patent #17,164.

If you like the tireless bloom strength of 'Happy Returns,' wait until you try this longer-blooming, larger-flowered cultivar! 'Going Bananas' flowers tirelessly from early summer till hard frost, with crepe-like icy lemon blooms that are not only beautiful but sweetly fragrant. For landscaping color with very low maintenance, it's simply the best.

These blooms are about 3 1/2 inches wide, and are held just above the foliage for a showy yet compact look. They have a crepe-like texture, adding interest to the display. And their scent is far more powerful than that of most Daylilies.

Many Daylilies flower heavily in early and midsummer, then rest and resume in late summer or fall, but 'Going Bananas' doesn't stop. You will seldom find it out of bloom for 5 or even 6 months straight!

Totally dormant in winter, it is ideal for tough northern climates, but it also fares well in the hot, humid south. The plant reaches about 19 to 21 inches high and 21 to 27 inches wide, with dark green foliage that looks fresh from early spring till frost. Like all Daylilies, it is wonderfully resistant to heat, humidity, drought, and poor soil. Zones 3-9.
