Hemerocallis 'Raspberry Suede'
Piecrust Edges and Diamond Dusting!
Bred by Blaney, this dormant tetraploid is vigorous and highly productive, setting up to 20 buds per scape. The plant reaches about 28 inches high (in bloom) and spreads 18 to 24 inches wide within just a season or two.
But it's the color and texture that distinguish 'Raspberry Suede' as something unique. The edges of each petal are delightfully ruffled in the style known as "piecrusting," while an overlay of silvery tones is "diamond dusted" across the surface of the blooms. A small chartreuse throat completes the picture.
Content in any well-drained soil receiving full sun to light afternoon shade, 'Raspberry Suede' is a magnificent presence in the border, meadow, or accent planting. Add it to your Daylily collection today! Zones 3-9.
