This Scottish introduction is a descendant of the award-winning 'South Seas'
A rosy-coral blend with a touch of terracotta, 'Scottish Fantasy' is beautifully piecrusted and a treat for the senses, with strong fragrance and a nice lime-green throat. These large blooms open first in midsummer, then repeat at season's end on vigorous plants hardy all the way through zone 10. Unbeatable for flower power and dependable performance!

This glorious daylily sets 5- to 5-inch blooms that combine rose, pink, coral, and burnt-umber tones. More fragrant than most others, they are wonderfully appealing on plants 2 to 3 feet high and wide. 'Scottish Fantasy' is a semi-evergreen tetraploid, so it keeps its color throughout winter in mild and warm climates, going dormant farther north. And its tetraploid breeding makes it more vigorous, colorful, and floriferous than ordinary diploids.

Each flowering stem of 'Scottish Fantasy' offers at least 20 buds, for a burst of color that will transform the sunny perennial border or meadow garden. And at summer's end, just when the garden is looking a bit threadbare, it offers up its generous second bloom!

Bred in 1996 by Steve Moldovan, 'Scottish Fantasy' is the child of 'South Seas,' an award winner and longtime favorite. It lives up its famous lineage and then some, delighting with its vigor and carefree beauty. Make it part of your landscape this season! Zones 4-10.
