Anise-scented Sunny Foliage!
Illicium parviflorum 'Florida Sunshine'
Great for everything from woodland settings to containers.
Brilliant yellow autumn foliage.
A delightful chartreuse-to-golden cultivar of the native shrub, this compact variety offers autumn foliage of brilliant yellow with red stems. The foliage is wonderfully licorice-scented, and remains on the shrub year-round, maturing to ivory-beige in winter. Left alone by deer, this is a good choice for a woodland setting, foundation, border, or container. Zones 6-9.
