Symbol Mean?
Far and away the largest Japanese Iris flowers we have seen, these ruffled 7- to 8-inch blooms are fully double and very bright, shading from deep grape-purple at the petal edges to pure white around the tiny yellow signal. They arise on sturdy stems in moist to boggy or even wet settings, appearing about a month after Siberian Iris. Showstopping color for the perennial garden! Zones 4-9.
