Lilium African Queen Group
The blooms reach up to 8 inches long, perfuming the entire garden for weeks and weeks.
The blooms have rich orange and gold tones within, occasionally streaked with bright green. Without, they are orange heavily overlaid with apricot to rose and marked with slender brown stripes. Bred from the Copper King Strain, they arise profusely on stems 5 to 6 feet tall.
Tolerant of a bit of shade but happiest in full sun in most climates, the African Queen Group is very long-lived and utterly carefree. Watch it increase in flower power and height with each passing year! Zones 3-9.
