Weigela Wine and Roses® PP#10,772
Striking accent plant!
Weigela is prized for its adaptability to harsh conditions, and Wine and Roses® introduces a new level of ornamental appeal -- rich burgundy-purple foliage that shimmers in the sun!
Developed in Holland, it has taken Europe by storm with its 3-season appeal: fresh new leaves in spring, bright 1- to 1 1/2-inch pinkish-rose blooms in early summer, and glossy dark foliage well into fall! Ideal in foundation plantings or mixed borders, it eventually reaches 4 to 5 feet tall and 4 feet wide.
Wine and Roses® grows vigorously in full sun to partial shade in any well-drained soil. Superbly tolerant of heat, drought, and cold. Zones 4-8.
