Astilbe Younique White™

Younique White™ is part of the Younique ™ series, which is renowned for the bright blooms that arise in profusion on dwarf plants with proven garden performance. Bred by Dutch hybridizer Jan Verschoor, the Younique ™ series features Astilbes with enhanced heat and drought tolerance as well as unprecedented bloom size and color. Incredibly floriferous, the flower stems stretch out just as wide as the foliage, putting on so many florets that the top and bottom of the plant begin to look symmetrical!

The blooms come on in early- to midsummer, adding a sparkling ivory accent to the front of a shady border or any sheltered bed or container. The massed effect is stunning; use Younique White™ as a groundcover in shady spots or as a cluster in the woodland garden. And of course the splendid flowers are a welcome addition to the vase!

Astilbe likes part shade, rich soil, and frequent watering (especially when blooming). Younique White™ is no exception: plant the eye about ½ inch deep in shady, evenly moist soil. Part shade and constant moisture will ensure that these blooms reach their full glorious potential. Do your part, and Younique White™ will quickly grow to its mature height of 16 inches, then reward you with years of reliable beauty--especially since pests tend to leave it be!
