Naturally shrubby, this David Austin English rose reaches 4 feet high and 4 feet wide at maturity and is arrayed in a harmonious blend of bubbly red buds and large coral-pink rosettes, lavish with 78 petals and redolent of myrrh with notes of hawthorn, elderflower, pear, and almond.
The plant is disease resistant, so it's good for beginners. It fits nicely in a container, but for maximum effect, plant in groups in beds or in mixed borders or rose borders.
Boscobel got its name from Boscobel House, where Charles II hid in an oak tree during the English Civil War.
