The Brandywine Viburnum creates an appealing display of colorful berries. Out of all the Viburnum shrubs, the Brandywine produces the heaviest cluster of fruit. A compact shrub, the Brandywine measures at a height and width range of 5-6 feet, and it is decorated with large round berries in hardy clusters. The berries come in as light green in early September, and they eventually turning white before showcasing vivid shades of blue and pink that last until February.

Birds flock to this multi-season shrub, and the eyes gravitate towards its dark green, shiny, four-inch long foliage that act as a backdrop against the white blooms that begin in spring and remain well into summer. Once the berries are ripe and in full color, the plant's foliage changes from a deep green to a rich red. This shrub is a Proven Winner® ColorChoice®; therefore, gardeners can count on its striking beauty, vigor and health. The Brandywine grows best in partial shade to full sunshine, and it adapts to an array of moisture levels and soils.
