Description
Leaves so pink it could make a flamingo green with jealousy. This 'Flamingo' Caladium can take the summer sun better than most, growing with vigor to an unbelievably lush colorful plant. It is a practically perfect plant rounded and symmetrical, with cascading layers of richly colored hot pink and emerald green leaves. This fancy leaf caladium is an astounding addition to a shaded border, but it is also tough enough to withstand some direct sunlight. The heart-shaped leaves are a stunning watermelon pink with thick dark green margins. This bi-color beauty could rival any flower in your landscape.
Fancy-leafed caladiums are a gardener's best friend; they have no natural enemies and grow contentedly in any rich soil. Just plant the bulb in warm (75 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit) conditions and watch it flourish with huge, wide-open leaves smattered with vivid colors.
