Long-blooming and Brilliantly Colorful

If there is a brighter bloom in the garden, we have yet to find it. These crimson flowers flutter in the sunny border like pennants, signaling to butterflies and hummingbirds to come visit. Penstemon Cha Cha™ 'Cherry' is upright and bushy, a standout even in the colorful series from which it comes.

Beginning in late spring or early summer in most climates, the flowers continue through summer and even go into fall, simply electrifying in any setting. They make wonderful cuts for the vase, but who can bear to see them leave the garden? Fully 28 inches high in full bloom, this is a power-packed perennial that grows quickly and flowers tirelessly for months.

Penstemon Cha Cha™ 'Cherry' loves hot, dry climates, but is adaptable to many garden conditions. Give it well-drained soil and see that it is thoroughly watered and fed its first season, so it becomes established in your garden. Then it will take off, delighting you by the number and strength of its flowers. Enjoy this over-the-top beautiful perennial.

Still Blooming

This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars

When they said Cha Cha Cherry penstemon was long blooming, they weren't kidding! I planted mine in early summer. Since they were newly planted they put out a few blossoms at first, but by fall they were in full swing. Today is December 13th and they're still blooming! In addition, there are lots of flower buds, promising more flowers to come if the weather stays mild..
