Description

'Charisma' is absolutely named appropriately, with enticing red and orange blooms that are overwhelmed with petals and a subtle sweet scent. 'Charisma' will add energy and intrigue to any garden setting and thrives cut in a vase as well.

These blooms are not the largest you will find, but they may just be the brightest! Measuring about 2 inches across, they are packed with up to 50 petals held in the classic hybrid tea fashion. The ruffled petals are a piercing yellow in the center that burns into a deep red at the tips?they really look like flames!

As they mature, the orange and red tones at the tips of the petals dominate, so each cluster will have flowers in all stages of color, from just-opened gold and apricot to mature cherry-red. Like all floribundas, 'Charisma' sets its blooms in large clusters, so when you cut a spray for the vase, you get mature blooms, newly-opened specimens, and even a bud or two.

Reaching just about 4 feet tall and wide, this compact floribunda is the perfect size for containers, borders and of course the rose garden. If you want to plant them side by side for a really flame-tastic effect, space them about 3 feet apart for generous coverage.

Give 'Charisma' full sun and well-drained soil, and the blooms will keep coming all summer long!
