Description / Rosa At Last™ Rose
A Proven Winners® ColorChoice® Flowering Shrub, Rosa At Last™ is a tough, disease-resistant landscape rose that reaches between 3 and 4 feet tall and wide. A highly popular best-seller, this shrub is very long blooming, setting large, full-petaled double blooms nonstop from late spring through frost. The enchanting clusters of sunset-orange flowers energize the garden, accentuated by healthy medium green foliage and enhanced by a lovely sweet scent. They make excellent cut flowers for romantic bouquets or mixed floral arrangements.
The At Last rose is a freely branching shrub with a dense, upright to rounded habit and a vigorous, moderate to rapid growth rate. It's highly versatile in the garden. Of course, it has the most impact when massed in the landscape or middle of the border, but it also makes quite an impression as a specimen or focal point, whether in garden or container.
The At Last rose has an easy-care attitude when grown in its ideal environment: a sun-drenched spot with moist, average to loamy, well-draining soil. It requires no spraying to maintain its vibrant good looks throughout the season. But to keep it looking its absolute best, simply prune it back by at least 1/3 its total height in early spring every year, making your cuts just above a thick, healthy bud, and feed it with a fertilizer made specifically for roses. Deadheading will keep the shrub looking tidy but is not required for a continuous bloom.
