This beloved native Virginia Sweetspire, Itea Scentlandia™ delivers on color, fragance, and presence!
Itea Scentlandia™ begins the season with light green foliage, very dense and appealing. Before spring turns to summer, the blooms have begun -- long firecrackers of silver white, sweet scented and pointing in all directions. Pollinators flutter right in to enjoy these blooms over many weeks. And then in fall, when the flowers are long gone and the season might be thought to be over, the green leaves turn handsome shades of scarlet and crimson!
Very easy to grow, this native shrub thrives in sun or shade, and is impervious to most pests and diseases. It doesn't mind wet feet or poor soil. You must find a place for it this season, the show is just too good to miss!
