Description / Tulipa & Muscari Flag Blend Bulbs
Plant Flag Blend Bulbs in early to mid fall, and in mid spring they bloom in a beautiful blend of white and purple jewel-toned triumph tulips and muscari flowers that beautifully contrast and complement the medium green foliage. The flowers in this mix have complementary bloom times and range in height from 6 to 18 inches tall and in width between 2 to 6 inches. This tulip and muscari mix makes gorgeous cut flower bouquets; but left in the garden, the flowers support early season pollinators, especially bees.
Flag Blend varieties are often grown as annuals; but grown Zone appropriately in ideal conditions, they may multiply and return for several years. This blend looks best when massed or grouped in beds, borders, or patio pots, but they're classic varieties for lining walkways.
Cold hardy to Zone 4 and so easy to grow they're virtually foolproof, Flag Blend flowers perform best in full sun spots with average, moist, well-draining soil. Deadhead spent flowers immediately but allow foliage to die back naturally. Fertilize each year for optimal performance.
