A bigleaf hydrangea from Bloomin' Easy®, Cherry-Go-Round™ is a woody, deciduous flowering shrub that will add brilliant color to your garden for months. Compact, reaching only 2 to 3 feet tall and wide, Cherry-Go-Round blooms and reblooms on old wood from late spring through summer. The large red mopheads last a long time and maintain their color throughout the bloom cycle, with the florets opening bright cherry red, turning darker red as they mature. The flowers, held aloft fleshy green foliage on very sturdy stems, make excellent cut flowers for fresh and dried bouquets. And the hollow stems provide nesting habitats for bees throughout the winter.

A Hydrangea macrophylla, Cherry-Go-Round is a multi-stemmed, suckering shrub with a mounded habit and a moderate growth rate. The shrub's compact size is perfect for a container, and it makes a great specimen plant; but it's shown to best effect when grouped or massed in mixed beds and borders.

A shade-friendly shrub, easy to grow and maintain, hydrangea grows best in partially sunny locations with rich, moist, well-draining soil. Full morning sun for 3 to 4 hours and dappled afternoon shade typically works best. Hydrangea can tolerate more sun if the soil is kept consistently moist. Cherry-Go-Round is bred to be heat tolerant.
