Juniperus (Juniper)

Juniper shrubs are part of the genus Juniperus, which includes about 50 to 60 species of evergreen, coniferous shrubs and trees. Different varieties display unique natural hues from blue, to green, to silvery blue and green. Typically, low-growing and slow-spreading, Juniperus require little maintenance. With scaly, needle-like leaves and long, trailing branches these bushes provide year-round color and structure in your yard and garden. Aromatically pine scented, Juniperus are ideal as foundation plantings or ground cover.
