The USDA hardiness zones offer a guide to varieties that will grow well
in certain climates. Each zone corresponds to the minimum winter temperatures
experienced in a given area. Make sure that your hardiness zone lies within
the zone compatibility range of this variety before ordering.
'Golden Ticket' is the first non-invasive privet! It's a compact, deciduous shrub with glossy foliage that emerges a bright yellow and ages to chartreuse. Panicles of small, white flowers appear from mid-to late spring to delight and contrast against the lime green foliage. It performs best in full sun or part shade in well drained soil but the bright foliage color will be best in full sun. Not only is this shrub visually interesting but it's deer resistant as well. This shrub is very adaptable and easy to grow and it's a great choice for hedging, screening, and landscape accent.
