Lomandra HIGHLIGHT™ Olive Green

Highlight™ mat rush looks like an ornamental grass, but it is a clumping evergreen perennial with elegant weeping and willowy blades of olive-green that add soft color, movement, and fine texture to the garden or a container.

This tough grass-like plant loves full sun and well-drained to dry soil. It is virtually maintenance free and looks good year-round. It's striking as edging or as a border lining a front walkway or garden path, but it's especially dramatic and environmentally friendly when planted in large groups with other drought-tolerant plants in a water-wise garden or when planted in mass as a replacement lawn, especially in arid environments, that doesn't require watering, or mowing.
