Anemone Lucky Charm

Anemone 'Lucky Charm'

Anemone x hybrida 'Lucky Charm'

Don't be fooled by this beauty's name! Although commonly referred to as the Japanese Windflower, Anemone is actually a native of China and needs no wind to flower -- in fact, it prefers protection from strong winds! We like to think that the Windflower received its name because it is sure to blow you away!

Sturdy stems lined with dark green leaves support vibrant fuchsia-pink blooms in late summer and fall. The lively pink and yellow colors make a bold statement all the way until hard frost.

This perennial looks frail, but is actually quite tough and long-lived. Eager to naturalize, it is so elegant and low maintenance -- a perfect combination for many gardeners!

Bring new spirit to your flower beds, borders, or home with these cut flowers. 'Lucky Charm' can reach 2 to 3 feet high, and is marvelous even out of bloom. Thrives in partial shade in zones 5 to 8.

Love the color, every bit as pretty as the picture, until the deer ate it!
