Rosa Moondance

Raspberry Fragrance | Trouble Free | Mildew Resistant

AARS Award 2007
Floribunda of the Year 2007

Rosa Moondance is an exceptional performer in any setting. Winner of several awards, Rosa Moondance offers large clusters of dreamy white blooms that release a sweet, raspberry fragrance. The foliage is mildew-resistant and lush from spring until frost. An all-around superior floribunda you will adore.

When it was introduced in 2007, Rosa Moondance immediately won the Floribunda of the Year Award from its breeders, Jackson & Perkins, as well as an All-American Rose Selection. And it's easy to see why: everything about this dense, well-branched rose is just a bit better than others, from the enticing fragrance to the ivory-cream petals on the big double blooms to the well-branched, bushy habit that works well as a hedge and foundation planting as well as a border standout.

Rosa Moondance is tall and vigorous, with long stems just right for cutting. The blooms arise from pointed ovoid buds and display the classic high-centered hybrid tea form. Measuring 4 inches in diameter, they boast about 25 to 30 petals and much more fragrance than their famous parent, the classic Iceberg. And Rosa Moondance repeats all summer.

To care for Rosa Moondance, prune it in earliest spring, removing dead and crossed canes. Feed and water Rosa Moondance generously all season, and deadhead the spent blooms for faster repeat. Enjoy this magnificent rose.
