Perhaps the most exciting trait of the Oso Easy® Rose series is its wonderful disease resistance, and 'Mango Salsa' is no exception, reportedly showing excellent resistance to black spot and mildew, remaining clean without spraying. When planting these easy-to-grow shrubs, place them in moist, well-drained soil in full sun and space them 3 to 4 feet apart, so they can grow to their 2- to 3-foot height and width, attracting butterflies and hummingbirds to their beautiful long-blooming flowers.
'Mango Salsa' doesn't need pruning like traditional roses—it will rebloom without deadheading, but if desired, it may be pruned to shape in the spring. Apply a controlled release fertilizer in early spring.
