You won't believe how easy it is to grow this new Honeysuckle, nor how fragrant its beautiful blooms really are! They open pale yellow from dark red buds, creating a two-tone look that is pretty amazing. And the best part? Well, it's probably the hummingbirds, who can't keep their beaks out of these flowers, but for us it's the everblooming nature of Peaches and Cream. From spring through summer, you won't find it out of flower!

First of all, this is a super-compact vine compared to most other Honeysuckles. It just reaches 5 to 6 feet long, the perfect size for the mailbox, trellis, lamppost, and other mild-mannered support. You won't have to go hacking through it with a machete like you do wild honeysuckle, yet there's enough of it there to make a huge impact.

Second, the bloom season. It begins in early spring in warm climates, just a bit later farther north. And it continues nonstop through late summer! None of this couple-weeks-on, month-off business -- these flowers just keep opening! And the fragrance--!

Third, once you get Peaches and Cream established in your garden (pamper it the first season, and you're good to go), you can really just leave it alone. Heat and humidity don't both it. Drought leaves it unfazed. It's a low-water plant anyway, and it really fends for itself!

Fourth, the hummingbirds will claim it immediately as their own. Get your camera and Peterson's Guide ready, because you're going to want to identify the visitors. Soon you'll see them so much (hummingbirds are territorial) that you might as well name them!

Fifth and last, this Honeysuckle is beautiful. The play of colors is breathtaking, and the sheer number of blooms is very, very gratifying. Why can't all plants behave like this? Order soon--it will probably sell out fast. Zones 4-8.
