The Graham Thomas rose is named for one of the most influential gardeners of his time, who was a very early supporter of David Austin's work in creating a new breed of rose: the English Rose.
Golden, cup-shaped blooms appear in early summer, and continue to rebloom, boasting deep yellow tones all season long. The fully-double blooms are of medium size, and are packed with large, slighty-ruffled petals. The petals are tightly arranged, adding volume and texture to this elegant specimen.
Graham Thomas can be grown as a shrub, or as a short climber, filling your garden with a strong, distinctive tea fragrance. Enjoy the delightful scent and magnificent color without worry, as this rose is exceptionally hardy. What more could you ask for in a rose? It was no surprise when it was voted The World's Favorite Rose by members of the 41 National Rose Societies worldwide, or when it won the James Mason Award from the R.N.R.S in 2000.
