Description / Rosa Lady of Shalott™
Lady of Shalott™ is a recommended variety from breeders at David Austin®, so you know this English rose is impressive. Orange-red buds open to form a chalice-shaped bloom, packed with loosely arranged petals. Absolutely dripping with color, these blooms are saturated with salmon and golden-yellow.
The blooms are supported on slightly arching branches, adorned with green leaves with slightly bronzed tones that quickly become totally green. The impressive, fully-double blooms give off a light tea fragrance with hints of spiced apple and cloves that will delight you all season long, as the blooms continually repeat throughout the season. Their production is so consistent, it?s almost unbelievable. Lady of Shalott's™ large, bushy habit makes it a great choice for hedging and borders. It can also be trained as a climber.
Very hardy and extremely disease resistant, Lady of Shalott™ is relatively low-maintenance, and is the perfect variety for beginners, and inexperienced and busy gardeners. Give this rose a little attention, and you won't be disappointed with the amazing results. Ownroot.

Second time will be successful, I hope 0 people found this helpfulLost the first one, my fault. Second one is struggling, not my fault. It is struggling but I have great hopes. Has lost half its canes but buds are showing at base. I love David Austin roses and Darcy is 8'x8' in full bloom. I trust Shalot will come through like Pat Austin and the others. It is painful to see the early struggle but I have faith is will soon thrive. It is potted in 24" pot in full sun. I am a Rosarian and I am confident it will thrive.
