Winner of the Perennial of the Year® award in 2008
Plant Patent #12,175. You've never seen a hardy geranium quite like this before. 'Rozanne' blew the competition away during garden trials at the University of Georgia. Then this super bloomer nabbed the "Plant of the Centenary" award at the 2013 Chelsea Flower Show. A prize chosen by the Royal Horticultural Society to crown the 100-year anniversary of the show. So what's the big deal? For one thing, this Blooms of Bressingham variety knows how to form a good habit. 'Rozanne' chooses compact, lush growth over the sparser, wider-spreading habit most geraniums show. Then there's the blooms. Vivid indigo beauties with white centers pop up in early summer and don't stop until fall. Expect the flowers to remain all the way to first frost. This acclaimed geranium grows about 2 feet in both directions provided well-drained soil and plenty of sun. Space plants 18 inches apart.
