Description
Eucalyptus 'Baby Blue' is often commonly known as florist silver dollar because it's incredibly popular amongst florists. It is a small evergreen tree or sprawling shrub of open, spreading habit adorned with a ravishing foliage of blue gray rounded leaves. Unlike many eucalyptuses, it retains its juvenile rounded foliage to maturity. Highly fragrant, the leaves and stems are covered in a white waxy powder making them last for a long time in the vase. In the fall and spring, abundant clusters of creamy white flowers are born amongst the foliage. This Eucalyptus enjoys a very interesting architecture and makes a lovely specimen tree for a small urban garden. It also makes excellent foliage interest in flower arrangements. It preforms best in full sun and it's drought resistant, deer resistant, and will attract birds to your garden. Plant it in your landscape or grow it in a container for fragrance and foliage interest for your garden!
