Planting:
Set plants 6 to 10 inches apart in a sunny location in a moderately fertile, moist but welldrained soil.
Maintenance:
Trouble-free, it can be easily divided after 4 or 5 years if desirable. Most varieties will self-sow; therefore, seed heads should be removed if you don’t want it to spread.
