Description

Highly Unique Texture

Cerise is part of the Younique™ series, which is renowned for the neon-bright blooms that arise in profusion on dwarf plants with proven garden performance. Cerise is the pink member of the series, and what an impressive display it puts on. Incredibly floriferous, the flower stems stretch out just as wide as the foliage, putting on so many florets that the top and bottom of the plant begin to look symmetrical.

The blooms come on in early to midsummer, adding a thrilling pink accent to the front of a shady border or any sheltered bed or container. The massed effect is stunning. Use Younique Cerise™ as a groundcover in shady spots or as a cluster in the woodland garden. And of course the splendid flowers are a welcome addition to the vase.

Astilbe likes part shade, rich soil, and frequent watering (especially when blooming). Younique Cerise™ is no exception: plant the eye about ½ inch deep in shady, evenly moist soil. Part shade, constant moisture, and the occasional dose of fertilizer will ensure that these blooms reach their full glorious potential. Do your part, and Younique Cerise™ will quickly grow to its mature height of 15 to 17 inches, then reward you with years of reliable beauty—especially since pests tend to leave it be. It is an excellent choice for borders that receive any exposure from dappled sunlight to nearly full shade. Long-lived and low maintenance, it is a perennial to be treasured in the shade.

just bought these in the beginning of april. these are only the second bare root plants i have ever gotten. they arrived as scraggly little things - i put them in the ground a couple days after receiving and now just a couple weeks later the foilage is a nice few inches up and they already have little buds about to bloom! cant wait!
