While Sambucus nigra produces showy flowers, this Sambucus racemosa produces smaller white flowers and focuses more of its energy on creating fine foliage instead. Growing 3 to 5 feet high and 3 to 6 feet wide, this elderberry bush is an excellent addition to the ranks of any mixed border, hedge, or woodland-themed garden.
