Apr 16, 2013I was looking for mountain laurel (Kalmia) cultivars. They are hard to find, especially in the South. Wayside is about 100 miles from me, has a good selection, and also has a good plant description and pictures. I really like the ability to specify your own planting zone and their telling you for each plant whether it is suitable for your zone.

Wayside Gardens not only had a large selection to choose from, they also had a wealth of information about each plant that helped me determine which would truly be the best choice. I found the plants I wanted on their site and then went to other sites to see if I could find them a little cheaper. In the end Wayside Gardens won out on cost as well!

Apr 4, 2013Wayside was one of the few companies where I could buy live Milkweed plants! This is extremely important because the Monarch Butterfly is endangered and needs Milkweed to survive. I hope the Monarchs will find my milkweed plants! The plants were packed well and carefully marked on the outside "Rush, live plants which I appreciated. They were also healthy and have been doing well in my side yard.
