A reblooming bigleaf hydrangea from Bloomin' Easy®, Soul Mate™ is a woody, deciduous flowering shrub that will add brilliant color to your garden for months. Compact, reaching only 2 to 3 feet tall and wide, Soul Mate™ blooms and reblooms on old wood from mid spring through mid fall. Bloom shades vary from light pink to hot pink or mauve, depending on soil conditions and last a long time maintaining their color throughout the bloom cycle. The flowers, held aloft fleshy green foliage on very sturdy stems, make excellent cut flowers for fresh and dried bouquets. And the hollow stems provide nesting habitats for bees throughout the winter.

A Hydrangea macrophylla, Soul Mate™ is a multi-stemmed, shrub with a mounded habit and a moderate growth rate. The shrub's compact size is perfect for a container, and it makes a great specimen plant; but it's shown to best effect when grouped or massed in mixed beds and borders. A part sun shrub, easy to grow and maintain, hydrangea grows best in partially sunny locations with rich, moist, well-draining soil. Watering frequency depends on soil and climate. Full morning sun for 4 to 6 hours and dappled afternoon shade typically works best. Hydrangea can tolerate more sun if the soil is kept consistently moist. Soul Mate™ is bred to be heat tolerant, low maintenance, and reblooming.
