Party Balloons Allium brings playful color and structure to the late spring and early summer garden with large 8 inch purple flower spheres that seem to float above the foliage like festive balloons. Held on tall upright stems, the rounded blooms create a bold architectural presence while adding texture, movement, and vibrant color to perennial borders and mixed plantings. In some cases, a single bulb may even produce two flower heads, an unusual trait among larger flowering alliums.
