Cesky Gold™ has absolutely earned its name with magnificent yellow leaves that offer season-long interest. Serrated edges give the fan-like leaves depth and personality. The tiny leaves lighten to a bright yellow-green color in spring, only to darken to a golden yellow in summer. Before the leaves fade to yellow, they burn a deep red color, complimented by the light orange-bronze branches.
Cesky Gold™ is a slow grower, only gaining about 10 centimeters per year. Reaching about 2 to 4 feet high, this compact shrub grows into an interesting spherical shape, making it a stand-out in any border. Its small stature makes this little shrub exceptionally suited for terraces, rock gardens, borders, and even containers.
Adaptable to pruning, you can turn Cesky Gold™ into just about any shape you want! Plant this tiny shrub in moist, well-drained soil, and give it plenty of sunshine or partial shade. When doing a mass planting, space these shrubs about 2 feet apart for maximum coverage! Zones 2-7.
